Why Polemics?
“I have decided to wear the mantle once worn by Howard Tompkins, my father-in-law, who passed away last year. He used to publish The Polemicist, which riled a few, entertained some, and educated the many. I have none of these goals in mind (save, perhaps, the second), but there are things I want to get off my chest and, if I can create a dialogue with you on these things, that would be wonderful.”
