The ADL Alumni Association has reserved 82 tickets for the Wednesday, May 28, concert at Symphony Hall, 301 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston. Keith Lockhart will be conducting an evening of music from the “Gatsby” era, described as a time when flappers and bootleggers rubbed elbows at parties in clandestine speakeasies. Joining the Boston Pops is the innovative New York-based jazz band The Hot Sardines. Blending standards with Dixieland music and Parisian flair, the versatile band – which also includes a tap dancer – will capture the spirit of the 1920s and ‘30s with such tunes as “Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen,” “Some of These Days,” and “St. James Infirmary.”
The concert begins at 8:00 PM and ends about 10:00 PM. Doors open at 7:00 PM allowing everyone time to socialize and those at tables to order food and drink.
