At reunions, we have always shared good food and good friends. So what’s new? The reunion venue this year will be new to us. The Lyman Estate, which is a National Historic Landmark, will be a delightful and very appropriate setting for a gathering of alumni of our firm, which has a distinguished history of its own.
This property in Waltham, also known as “the Vale,” is a fine example of a country estate, now often home to private parties. The house was commissioned in 1793, enlarged in 1882, and remodeled in 1917. As described in the web site,(Historic New England Website), its architectural features include an elegant ballroom and graceful oval parlor. The thirty-seven acres include beautifully preserved gardens and historic greenhouses.
More information about registration deadlines and fees will be forthcoming. In the meantime, please be sure to save the date!
